The Google Checkout service became available in the United States on June 28, 2006, and in the UK on April 13, 2007.
It's first inclusion in the EasyWebstore system is not documented.
Google Checkout was replaced by Google Wallet on September 19, 2011. At this time Google released an update to all existing integrations, updating all of the payment buttons to use the new Google Wallet branding.

What happens to orders in EasyWebstore
At the moment if someone checks out an order from your EasyWebstore using Google Wallet and they complete payment details and submit the order on the Google Wallet screens, EasyWebstore will put the order into the Payment Pending status.
The reason for this is that depending on how you have your account set up with Google, you might be taking payment immediately or you might be charging the customers card at a later point, maybe upon despatch.
Therefore for now you would have to change the status of the order from payment pending to payment collected / despatched manually in EasyWebstore.
Some people have reported this error when attempting to checkout an order using Google Checkout :
The specified Shipping Restrictions result in an unsupported shipping area.
Although the Google documentation isn't great on this Google only accept certain countries for delivery addresses, it won't allow embargoed countries (countries the US/UK aren't allowed to trade with).
So if you have a delivery method set up in EasyWebstore and have selected pretty much every country for it, then Google might not allow it.
In order to assist our merchants we have compiled the following list of countries that we know Google does not allow.
- France, Metropolitan
- Iran (Islamic Republic Of)
- Korea, Democratic People'S Republic Of
- Libyan Arab Jamahiriya
- Syrian Arab Republic
Note: Selecting "All Countries" will automatically exclude the countries listed above when using Google Wallet
